Plakias

Plakias Village, on the south coast - directly south of Rethymno, about 30 km south of Rethimno, is a part of the municipal unit Foinikas. 

Although a quite a busy tourist destination, Plakias has a unique feeling, which appeals to many different travellers.

It is perfect for a day-trip, since there is loads to do here, such as chill in a beach bar, or enjoy your lunch.
